Julio Vincent Gambuto is a writer/director for film and television. His debut feature film, Team Marco, is now available nationwide from Samuel Goldwyn Films. Find it on Hulu, Apple TV or Amazon — or any other major movie platform. Leonard Maltin called it “life-affirming.” The New York Times commended Julio’s “golden view” of his hometown. The film goes international this winter. Julio is set to direct his second feature, Silver Fox, later this year.

Julio is the author of Prepare for the Ultimate Gaslighting — a super-viral essay series here on Medium — which to date has been read by over 21 million people around the world.

Julio’s debut book, Please Unsubscribe. Thanks! — a non-fiction field-guide to personal happiness in late-stage capitalism — will be published by Avid Reader Press at Simon & Schuster. Coming in 2023.

Julio is a graduate of Harvard University and trained at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
