Join me on Medium Day for “How to Create a Successful Book Proposal”

Medium readers, writers, friends, and colleagues, I will be presenting this Saturday at 2:30pm. Come on down! It’s a half-hour session (they all are) with a 15-minute presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A.

What’s the presentation about? My presentation will focus on the key elements of a book proposal, what was effective (according to agent and editor), and what the process was/is like to pitch a book and get it sold.

What will attendees get from it? You’ll walk away — or, log off — with details about the actual format of a book proposal, a sample PDF to download, as well as key insights into how I got my book from idea to the shelves of Barnes & Noble.

Who should attend? This session is for everyone, but specifically geared toward writers who want or who are developing a book proposal. While I went the traditional book publishing route with my book, this session is also for those who are self-publishing. I’ll be addressing both.
